This flood insults me. I am married.

Courtship has no place here. The children of criminals would only be corrupt and of ill nature. The flood may be trying to evoke some heathen spirit amongst us. We must be wary and resist its advances.

I am no longer a human being. This place has robbed me of my last remnants of humanity. I am no better then the creature. No better at all.
